What’s Wrong With Growing Old? Nothing.

There’s beauty in imperfection. Love your wrinkles, smile lines, baggy eyes, cellulite, scars, and body fat. Oftentimes, we are our own worst critics. I tell myself I never want to grow older or see myself age. But now, I do not mind it. I am what I am. I have no desire to get plastic surgery. Take care of yourself now and your future self will thank you later. Every human being should learn to love everything about themselves. Flaws and all. Sometimes, Drake gives good advice, leave the house wearing sweatpants, hair tied, chillin with no makeup on. Let your skin breathe. You shouldn’t fear letting people see who your truly are. Guys who are shorter than 6’0 are attractive too. You don’t need a six pack to be considered dateable either. People are just shallow, arrogant, and rude.

We live in a world that easily teaches us self-hatred rather than self-love. Most societies idolizes the concepts of youth, physical appearance, and perfection. Perfection simply does not exist. Beauty and youth will fade. One day you will wake up with gray hair and face full of wrinkles. The wrinkles will be a result of all the days you spent smiling. I hope you create fun, wild, and unbelievable memories now, so you’ll have fun stories to share when you’re old. Question of the day: Do you think dating apps have killed romance? Wherever you are in the world stay happy, healthy, and safe! ❤️
