It’s Okay To Grow Slowly

When you branch out, your roots start to show, and you grow. I’ve grown great lengths within the last few months (of course, not physically). Sometimes, when I look at myself in the mirror, I don’t even recognize myself anymore. I feel like a new person even if no one else can see it. It’s a beautiful thing to say that you fell apart and you survived. Some of my favorite people are the ones with the hardest lives. I’ve never met a strong person with an easy past. I respect people who have lived and died a few times. Do you know what I mean?

The people who have gone through hell and back. The people who have lost everything and still find a way to smile. Those are the people I admire most. This year, I’m teaching myself to just go with the flow though. I’ve learned that you don’t have to have everything figured out, you just have to keep moving forward. Take everything one day at a time. Sometimes, all you can do is trust yourself and hope for the best in life. Question of the day: Did you have a good day? How is your mental health? Leave your comments below and sweet dreams!

Wherever you are in the world stay happy, healthy, and safe! ❤️
