Imagine It, Then Create It

One of the greatest things about being human is that there is no statute of limitations on starting again. There is no age limit on when you can stop reinventing yourself. One day, you can be wearing a pair of blue jeans and a t-shirt for tailgate with your friends. And then, tomorrow you are dressed up like the belle of the ball for your cousin’s wedding. You can decide who you want to be in life. If there is something you dislike about yourself, then there is always room for improvement.

My ultimate life goal is to evaluate and improve on myself every day. I never want to be the smartest person in the room. I want to learn as much as I can from everyone around me. Almost a year ago today, I decided to start thinking differently. I was wallowing in self-pity and it became my greatest enemy. I needed to create a new pattern of thoughts. I hold myself to a higher standard than anyone expects of me. I’ve learned that everything doesn’t always have to be perfect. Teach yourself to relax and be patient.

Sometimes, I ponder where our imaginations went after we hit adulthood? At what point did we decide to become stagnant, unhappy, and unsatisfied with ourselves? I never want to live even a second of my life feeling motionless. The only luxury we have is time and you should never waste a second of it. What’s one thing you want to accomplish this today, this week, or this year?

Wherever you are in the world stay happy, healthy, and safe! ❤️
