Remember to Breathe

Do you ever have days where life feels a little unbearable? You feel overwhelmed with work and there doesn’t seem to be enough hours in a day. The weekend flies by and then suddenly it’s Sunday. You have to do everything you wish you did on Friday and Saturday. Honestly, sometimes it’s okay if the only thing you did today was breathe. Everyone should invest in making one day of their week a mental health day. It will do wonders for you. You will glow differently when you are doing better.

Try to find balance in life. Remember to work hard, but don’t let work take over your whole life.  Don’t waste your time on anything that is mediocre. Live for the moments that make you feel alive. Surround yourself with people who want to have fun and make life memorable. Know who you are and that you are worthy of achieving your dreams. It’s never too late to create the life you have always dreamed of living. Let go of anyone or anything that no longer brings you happiness. Sometimes you just have to step outside, breathe, and let go of everything that is holding you back.

Life becomes more meaningful when you realize you will never experience the same moment twice. I love taking pictures because for one moment in time everything feels perfect even if it truly isn’t. It is the one mnemonic device I use to build my memories. Sometimes, I wish my eyes could take pictures. Wouldn’t that be nice?
