Hard Times Will Always Reveal True Friends

As you grow older, it’s less important to have a ton of friends and more valuable to have real ones. I truly do sympathize for those that do not have true close friends. I wish I could share my world with you. I’m currently in Portland, Oregon with two of my closest friends since middle school. No matter how much time has passed it feels as if nothing has changed over the years. We can be separated for weeks, months, and even years at a time and pick up on the next page. Stay close to people that feel like sunlight. The best friendships are the ones where you aggressively believe in each other, defend one another, and think the world of them. You never get to choose your family, but you get to choose your friends. And I’m blessed to have the best of both worlds.
