I’m Finally Smiling For Myself Again.

Do you ever have those moments where you question your entire existence? You think to yourself, “What am I doing with my life?” “Why am I not as happy as I could be?” “What am I doing wrong?” Everyone has those moments. Life is about figuring yourself out, who you want in your life, and what you want to accomplish.

I secretly started this blog last May when I decided I needed to do something to change my life. I spoke with a number of adults first, my pre-law advisor, professors, and federal attorneys. I didn’t show it to anyone my age until August. I have fixed it up a great deal since then. I am astonished that people are even reading it.

Like all forms of art, when a writer writes something you have to ask yourself  if he/she is writing it for their audience or for his/herself. Did J.K. Rowling, Ernest Hemingway, and Mark Twain write to please you? I’m not sure, I never met them. In this case, I am writing this for myself. Honestly, if you are happy with yourself, then who cares. A writer would truly be nothing without their readers. So, thank you to everyone who even reads bits and pieces of this blog. I appreciate everyone of you.

The best feeling in the world is watching things Finally“>finally fall into place after watching them fall apart after so long. I may have wrote this for myself, however it’s worthwhile to see how it is positively affecting others. It means my writing is serving its purpose. And that is what makes this experience worth it.

If you are a blogger, why did you start writing? Does it bring you joy?
