Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

Happy Thanksgiving! I just wanted to take a moment to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving. I hope you spend the day with the people you care about most and eat your hearts out in turkey, stuffing, and pumpkin/apple pie. Drink & be merry! I am excited to celebrate next weekend when my sister returns home from California. I am going to find my Mom a cute outfit to wear and convince her to dress up. I’ll make some updates on the blog and YouTube soon, so stay tuned!

I am such a New England girl, fall is without a doubt the best time of year and I do not want to see it end so soon. My friends and I had a Friendsgiving a couple weekends ago at Monaliza’s house. It is a blessing to have such an amazing support system in my life. I truly wish I could share my friends and family with everyone. Unfortunately, I had to miss a Friendsgiving invite from Aldila & Steve and a brunch date with Sameen because I had to be an adult and focus on my priorities. Sorry, I miss you guys and will see you soon!

This year has been a whirlwind of an experience and I am just so grateful for everyday. I know most people will not be able to resonate with my story, let alone my crazy life. I am sure there are plenty of people who think I am delusional, a weirdo, and many other terrible things. People are probably going to look at me differently when they see me outside in a bar, on the train, or walking down the street for the things I say. That’s okay, I don’t want anyone to feel bad for me. I embarrass myself pretty often. I truly am not trying to offend anyone with what I say, yet I know that is almost impossible. I still need to fix my story. It doesn’t sound 100% like myself yet. This is my strange attempt at being normal. Whatever that means? I am not even sure.

Even if nothing comes of this, I am proud to say that I was able to write this and help other people feel a little more comfortable with themselves. Some say that, I am brave, but I do not see it as bravery. I am doing this because morally I think this is the right thing to do. In regards to the current state of affairs in this country, it’s important that people express themselves and feel like they have a voice. Too many people feel marginalized right now and that’s just not right. I would love if other people felt comfortable enough to share their stories. This is supposed to be a fun and collaborative experience. If you love writing, dancing, singing, taking pictures or anything I did not mention, then please let me know? I would love to feature you. Let’s see if something good can come from this.

All my love,
